Subject: new forecast service for the Yellow River at Necedah in
          Juneau County in central Wisconsin

Beginning on Wednesday may 20 2015... NOAA/S National Weather Service
/NWS/ office in La Crosse will commence the provision of New River
forecast service for the Yellow River at Necedah.

This new service has been coordinated with local officials... as well
as dam owners and operators along the yellow and Wisconsin rivers
in central Wisconsin.

This new forecast service will not only provide flooding forecasts
for the community of Necedah and nearby areas... but it will also
assist water planners in the region with operation of dams on
both the yellow and Wisconsin rivers.

So as of may 20... 2015... at 1800 coordinated Universal time /UTC/
NWS La Crosse will begin to issue hydrologic products as necessary
that may include specific river forecasts. The hydrologic products
are listed in the following table.

The NWS defines flood stage as the river level or flow value at
which impacts to life and/or property begin. Flood stage for the
Yellow River at Necedah has been determined to be 15 feet.

Forecasts for the Yellow River at Necedah will be issued when water
levels are expected to exceed 12 feet... and flood warnings will be
issued when water levels are expected to reach or exceed the
flood stage level of 15 feet.
