The Flood Warning continues for
the Little River at Cameron.
* At 0601 PM Monday the stage was 26.41 feet.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise above flood stage by
Monday night and crest near 31 feet by Tuesday morning. The river
should fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Little River near Rockdale.
* At 0415 PM Monday the stage was 29.51 feet.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise above flood stage by
Monday evening and crest near 37 feet by Wednesday morning. The
river should fall below flood stage by Thursday after midnight.
* At 36 feet, widespread major lowland flooding is expected.

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 730 PM CDT for
falls... Robertson and Milam counties...

At 509 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already
fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly... and
significant flash flooding is possible... especially across Milam and
Robertson counties.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Marlin... Rockdale... Cameron... Hearne... Franklin... Rosebud...
Thorndale... Calvert... Bremond... Lott... Golinda... Buckholts and
Milano.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 9 PM CDT this
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north and central Texas... along and east of a
Sherman to Dallas to Hillsboro to Lampasas.

* Until 9 PM CDT this evening

* as an upper level disturbance tracks across the region...
severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will occur. The soil
is already saturated... so any additional heavy rainfall will
cause flash flooding.

* Average rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts is
expected through this evening.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy
rain which may lead to flash flooding. You should monitor the
latest forecasts from the National Weather Service and be
prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued for
