Warning continues for
the Mud Creek near Jacksonville.
* Until Tuesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 PM Saturday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 12.6 feet by
tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage Monday
before midnight.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... expect pasture flooding.

the East Fork Angelina river near Cushing.
* Until Tuesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:15 PM Saturday the stage was 17.6 feet.
* Record flooding is occurring and record flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early Monday morning.

the Sabine River near Beckville.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:45 PM Saturday the stage was 30.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.3 feet by
early Monday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 30.0 feet... expect moderate to severe flooding of the
lowland floodplain for the next several days.

the Sabine River at Longview.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 PM Saturday the stage was 28.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.3 feet by
tomorrow evening then begin falling.
* Impact... at 35.0 feet... expect severe flooding of several thousand
acres of river bottom along with Petroleum equipment, secondary
roadways, and several structures. Preparations should be completed
for a major flooding event.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Attoyac Bayou near Chireno.
* Until Thursday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 14.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 21.1 feet by
Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
before midnight.
* Impact... at 21.0 feet... The Bayou will continue to slowly fall
during the next several days, and lowland flooding will gradually
decrease.

Survey summary: the tornado began in extreme southern Harrison
just south of County Road 1311... where it twisted and uprooted
numerous trees. It continued north-northeast and passed just east
of County Road 1320... where it began to move more northeast. It
traveled to the northeast in parallel with Caney Creek and lifted just
west of County Road 1207. All along the path the tornado twisted
several tree trunks... knocked over numerous trees... and uprooted
many more.

Survey summary: the tornado touched down along and east of County
Road 2705 and just north of FM 134... where it uprooted several trees.
It traveled north-northeast where it severely damaged two Mobile homes
along Bennett Road off of County Road 2705. It continued north-northeast
where it caused scattered tree and powerline damage along FM 9. It
continued further northeast... where it snapped and uprooted several
more tree along FM 1999 before lifting.

Survey summary: the tornado began just west of US-69 near the
intersection of US-69 and mayor street. Initial damage was to
trees and minor roof damage to homes... but as the tornado crossed
US-69 it caused major damage to the hibbett sports and dollar tree
stores on the east side of US-69. The tornado moved northeast
causing tree and roof damage in subdivisions between US-69 and CR
431. The tornado began to lift near the intersection of CR 431 and
Pierce street.

Survey_summary: this survey is not complete. Repeating... this
survey is not complete. The tornado was a part of a multi-vortex
tornadic supercell beginning near the intersections of CR 499 and
CR 4100. The tornado travelled northeast causing numerous damage
mainly to trees along its path. The storm became strongest between
FM 16 and FM 2710... where a cell phone tower... a house... and two
Mobile homes sustained major damage from estimated EF2 winds. The
survey team ended the survey on CR 323 north FM 2710 and just shy
of The Wood County line. The survey team will return to complete
the survey on Sunday.

Ef scale: the Enhanced Fujita scale classifies
tornadoes into the following categories.

EF0... weak... ... 65 to 85 mph
EF1... weak... ... 86 to 110 mph
EF2... strong... .111 to 135 mph
EF3... strong... .136 to 165 mph
EF4... violent... 166 to 200 mph
EF5... violent... >200 mph
