The Flood Warning continues for
the polecat Creek near Sapulpa.
* Until Thursday morning, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Wednesday, the stage was 23.00 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring but the river is falling.
* Forecast... the polecat Creek near Sapulpa will continue falling to
below flood stage by Thursday before dawn.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet, widespread flooding affects pasturelands and
oil fields between Sapulpa and the Tulsa County line. Barns and
other outbuildings may be threatended by minor flooding.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
northern Okfuskee County in east central Oklahoma...
Okmulgee County in northeastern Oklahoma...
southern Creek County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* until 345 PM CDT Thursday

* at 317 PM CDT... Doppler radar and Oklahoma mesonet observations
indicated that as much as 4.5 inches of rain fell since midnight
last night across Okmulgee and creek counties. This heavy rainfall
has caused Road closures in the area... especially near Beggs.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Okmulgee... Bristow...
Okfuskee... Morris...
Beggs... Depew...
slick... Shamrock...
Bald Hill... Welty...
Preston... Okmulgee State Park...
Liberty... Hectorville...
Mason... Milfay...
Eram...

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 178 and 196.
