... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 1245 am CDT
for western Atoka and southeastern Coal counties...

At 1206 am CDT... a severe thunderstorm was located near Lehigh... moving
northeast at 30 mph.

Hazard... Golf Ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs... siding... windows... and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs... siding... and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Atoka... Coalgate... Stringtown... Lehigh... Centrahoma... Olney... Phillips...
Boggy Depot Park... Chockie and Atoka Reservoir.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember... if you can hear thunder... you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm... and may lead to

eastern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma...
northwestern Atoka County in southeastern Oklahoma...
southern Coal County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* until 300 am CDT

* at 1206 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain. One to three inches of rain have fallen between 1030 PM
and midnight near Wapanucka.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Coalgate... Wapanucka... Lehigh... Milburn... Bromide... Clarita... Fillmore...
Olney... Coleman... Phillips... Boggy Depot Park and northern Atoka
Reservoir.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches are likely in
the warned area... especially near Wapanucka.

eastern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma...
northwestern Atoka County in southeastern Oklahoma...
southern Coal County in southeastern Oklahoma...

* until 245 am CDT

* at 1145 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
One half to two inches of rain has fallen between 1030 and 1145 PM.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Coalgate... Wapanucka... Lehigh... Milburn... Bromide... Clarita... Fillmore...
Olney... Coleman... Phillips... Boggy Depot Park and northern Atoka
Reservoir.

Additional rainfall of one half to two inches is expected over
the area through 245 am. This additional rain will make minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
