... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 1130 PM CDT for
northwestern McClain... central Grady and Cleveland counties...

At 1004 PM CDT... local law enforcement reported significant flash
flooding in Norman and Little Axe. Several Road ways are flooded...
with numerous water rescues reported. This is a dangerous and life
threatening situation. Up to three inches of rain have already
fallen... with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible over night.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Norman... Moore... Chickasha... Stella... Newcastle... Noble...
Blanchard... Goldsby... Cole... Norge... Lake Thunderbird... Stanley
Draper Lake... Middleberg and Tabler.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

rain have already fallen.
