... A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 415 am MDT for west
central Union... southeastern Colfax... northeastern San Miguel...
central Quay and central Harding counties...

At 142 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain over the
warned area. The strongest storm was located near Bueyeros... or 19
miles northeast of Mosquero... moving north at 20 mph. Additional
storms were located south of Yates and northeast of Mosquero.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall was
continuing over portions of the the warned area. Additional flash
flooding is expected. Be particularly careful over low water
crossings. Do not drive into water of unknown depth... turn around
and dont drown.

south central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico
north central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico

* until 330 am MDT

* at 134 am MDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain along portions of Highway 550 near Cuba and north to
state roads 96 and 112 including Regina and Gallina.

* Strong flows and high water levels are expected in arroyos... small
streams and over low water crossings.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to tell how much
water is on the Road... do not drive through fast moving water of
unknown depth. Turn around and dont drown.

* at 1149 PM MDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
moderate to heavy rain rain continuing from numerous thunderstorms
from Raton to Springer... Mount Dora and central Harding County.

* Strong flows and high water levels are expected in arroyos... small
streams and over low water crossings. Hazardous water levels are
expected in the Canadian river... Mosquero creek and Ute creek
downstream to Ute Lake. Hazardous ponding is expected on area
roads and ditches may overflow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... ditches are deadly. A gentle flow of water can become a
raging torrent in a matter of minutes.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to tell how much
water is on the Road... do not drive through fast moving water of
unknown depth.
