Warning continues for
The Bayou Dorcheat at Lake Bistineau.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:00 am Thursday the stage was 142.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 142.5 feet.
* Forecast... the river will remain near 142.5 feet.
* Impact... at 142.5 feet... expect some minor flooding of low area
camps, however, all access roadways will remain open.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Bayou Dorcheat at Dixie Inn.
* Until Monday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 12:00 PM Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Sunday evening.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... expect minor lowland flooding with the boat
ramp suffering overflow.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Coushatta, Louisiana.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 am Thursday the stage was 31.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 35.5 feet by
June 6. Additional rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 35.0 feet... moderate flooding occurs. Severe backwater
flooding occurs from the confluence of the Red River with Loggy
Bayou through the Lower Flat river and Red Chute bayou in southern
Bossier Parish. Cattle and equipment should be moved to higher
ground away from levees.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red Chute bayou at Sligo, Louisiana.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 600 am Thursday the stage was 32.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast... The Bayou wiill recede to near 31.5 feet by Friday
morning.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet... expect extensive flooding in between the
levee systems. Livestock should be moved to higher ground away from
Red Chute bayou.

... Flooding very similar to that of may of 1990 to develop on the
Red River through the first week of June...

... Latest Red River stages and forecast crest information...

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River near DeKalb Texas at Pecan
Point was 34.69 feet. The river is currently at a flat crest. Flood
stage near DeKalb is 24 feet.

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River at index Arkansas north of
Texarkana was 25.52 feet. The river will rise and crest near 30
feet June 1. Flood stage at index is 25 feet.

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River at Fulton Arkansas was
22.69 feet. The river will rise and crest near 32 feet by June 3.
Flood stage at Fulton is 27 feet.

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River at Shreveport Louisiana was
28.16 feet. The river will rise and crest near 33 by June 5. Flood
stage at Shreveport is 30 feet.

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River at Coushatta Louisiana was
31.54 feet. The river is expected to rise and crest near 35.5 feet
by June 6. Flood stage at Coushatta is 31 feet.

The 2 PM Thursday stage on the Red River at Grand Ecore Louisiana
was 36.02 feet. The Red River will rise and crest near 40 feet by
June 7. Flood stage at Grand Ecore is 33 feet.

Nearly all of the red river's tributaries in southern Oklahoma and
North Texas remain above flood stage. Soils in the Red River basin
remain saturated from this very wet Spring of 2015. Also Lake
Texoma on the Red River and tributary reservoirs to the Red River
remain very high as well from stored flood waters.

After the Red River crests... very high water stages will continue on
the Red River through at least Independence day of the Fourth of
July weekend due to very high flood control Reservoir pool stages
across much of the Red River basin.

Pecan Point north of DeKalb Texas 34.4 feet during may 6 of 1990.

Index Arkansas north of Texarkana 32.3 feet during may 10 of 1990.

Fulton Arkansas 34.3 feet during may 12 of 1990.

Shreveport Louisiana 34.5 feet during may 15 of 1990.

Coushatta Louisiana 37.5 feet during may 17 of 1990.

Grand Ecore Louisiana 40.7 feet during may 18 of 1990.
