... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 1215 am CDT for
southeastern Union County in south central Arkansas and northwestern
Union parishes...

At 1012 PM CDT... Doppler radar continues to indicate thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area... with rainfall rates
between 2 and 3 inches per hour. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huttig... strong... Lapile... Urbana... Lawson... Spearsville... New
London... Lockhart... Oakland... Taylorville... Hillsboro and Aurelle.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

.Overview... Isolated convection developed across northwest
Louisiana and southwest Arkansas during the evening hours on
Monday may 25... ahead of a squall line. Although there were
reports of large hail and strong winds with the isolated
convection ahead of the squall line... the squall line produced
the majority of the wind damage as it moved across the arklatex.

.Tornado #1 in Panola County in northeast Texas...
