* at 702 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding may already be occurring.

* at 538 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding may be already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
southwestern Manhattan... Junction City... Herington... Ogden... Grandview
Plaza... Chapman... Enterprise... White City... Milford... hope... Woodbine...
Latimer... Milford Lake... moonlight and Burdick.

central Kansas... north central Kansas and northeast Kansas...

Franklin... Geary... Lyon... Morris... Osage... Shawnee and
Wabaunsee. In north central Kansas... Clay... cloud... Ottawa...

* Through Friday afternoon

* several rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Friday
morning across north central and northeast Kansas. Heavy
rainfall has fallen across the area over the last few days and
additional heavy rains could lead to flash flooding as well as
flooding of streams and creeks.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

The NWS in Topeka is deploying a damage survey team to the Wamego
area on Friday to survey tornado damage from a storm that moved
through Thursday afternoon.

Storm survey results will be released sometime Friday afternoon.
