south central Caribou County in southeastern Idaho...
western Franklin County in southeastern Idaho...

* until 115 PM MDT Friday

* at 115 PM MDT, emergency management reported high inflows into The
Bear river due to snowmelt and runoff have necessitated dam
releases at Soda Springs and Grace. As a result, minor flooding
along streams and across fields and low lying areas is expected

Whitney and Riverdale.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

deaths occur in vehicles.

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent. Continue to monitor for further updates and statements
from the National Weather Service.
