... Red flag warning in effect from 1 PM to 10 PM MDT Friday for
gusty winds and low relative humidity for fire weather zone
413 below 5000 feet...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect Friday from 1 PM to 10 PM MDT.

* Affected area... fire weather zone 413 below 5000 feet.

* Wind... south 20 to 25 mph gusting to 35 to 40 mph.

* Humidity... 14 to 18 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. Fires may experience
rapid rates of growth. Please advise the appropriate officials or
fire crews in the field of the red flag warning for portions of
southeast Idaho.
