A Wind Advisory remains in effect from noon today to midnight MST
tonight.

* Timing... winds increasing Sunday morning and continuing strong
through Sunday evening.

* Winds... southwest at 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

* Locations include... Snake River Plain and eastern Magic Valley
including the I-86 and I-15 corridors and the inl complex.

* Impacts... difficult driving for high profile vehicles and
trailers... especially on north-south roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.




Avalanche Warning

Statement as of 7:00 AM MST on December 21, 2014

... The Sawtooth National Forest avalanche center... Sun Valley Idaho has
continued a backcountry avalanche warning...

* timing... in effect until 730 am MST Monday.

* Location... for the Soldier... smoky... Boulder... and sawtooth
ranges. This includes the mountains near Fairfield..Ketchum...
Galena Summit... Smiley creek and Stanley.

* Reason... heavy snowfall... rain and strong winds will produce
widespread high avalanche danger. Some avalanches will be large
and destructive and may reach valley floors.

Precaution/preparedness actions...

Natural and human triggered avalanches are likely. Avoid travel
and recreation in or below avalanche terrain. Backcountry
skiers... snowboarders... snowmobilers and other users should be
aware of sloping terrain and avoid avalanche path runout areas.
Use extreme caution.

Additional information...

This warning does not apply to controlled ski areas or Highway operations.
